The Town of Norwood Board of Trustees has an immediate opening for a board member. This person will serve out the remainder of a trustee term until April 2020. The board meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month and also for special meetings and work sessions. The qualifications are: must be a town of Norwood resident for no less than 12 months; must be a registered voter, and must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Last night, 4-9-19, at the Norwood Water Commission meeting the commission updated their outside water plan. The Town residents may water outside with the treated town water on even days and the customers who live in the rural area may water on odd days. NWC is also requesting their customers to not conduct any outside watering during the heat of the day (9a.m. to 5 p.m.) or when the wind is blowing. The full notice is under the NWC dropdown.
The 3 Entities for the Town of Norwood are having their regular meetings for April starting with the Norwood Water Commission on Tuesday, April 9th. On April 10th the Town of Norwood will hold their regular meeting and the Norwood Sanitation District follows on April 11th. Shawn Fallon is presenting a disc golf proposal to the town at their Wednesday meeting.
