Norwood Water Commission Update on Outside Watering Conservation Plan

The Norwood Water Commission met on September 8, 2020 and once again implemented an outside watering schedule of every other day.  Those customers residing in the TOWN are to water on even number calendar days and those customers residing in RURAL may water on odd number  days.  The NWC is asking customers to not water during the heat of the day (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or when the wind is blowing.  This plan is subject to change and will be revisited on October 13, 2020, at the regular meeting of the Norwood Water Commission.

The Norwood Water Commission has moved to the next phase of drought condition restrictions.  Customers of the Water Station Dispensary for potable water are allowed a maximum of 4000 gallons per monthWater is for essential use only; for agricultural, industrial and commercial enterprises.  Trees and shrubs are allowed to be watered only once per week.  Lawn irrigation or ornamental watering will not be allowed at this time.  This may change without notice.  Please call 327-4288 with any questions.
