The Norwood Water Commission is holding public comment for a rate raise at their regular meeting on December 13, 2011.  The base rate will stay at $27.50 per tap.  The town rate will go from $3.00 per thousand to $3.50 per thousand, and the rural rate will go from $3.50 per thousand to $4.00 per thousand up to 7000 gallons and then from $4.00 to $4.50 per thousand after 7000 gallons.  The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. and public comment will be held shortly thereafter at the Community Center at 1670 Naturita St., Norwood, Colorado.
